The stunning location with a ruined castle as a backdrop and being adjacent to the Pennine Way is perfect for exploring. The barn itself is comfortable with a great power shower and is kept very clean. Communication with the agent, Julia, was exceptional, and her flexibility and help regarding our delayed Sherpa van pick up was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended as one of our favorite AirBnBs.

The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of a beautiful ruined castle as the backdrop. Plus, it was conveniently situated next to the Pennine Way, offering plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. the barn itself was comfortable and had a great power shower, ensuring a refreshing start to the day.
We found the seating and space in the barn to be inadequate for four people. It felt cramped and uncomfortable, especially when trying to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

stunning barn in bowes, barnard castle exceeded our expectations! the barn was brilliantly converted, with a cozy wood burner and underfloor heating. our son loved his attic bed and climbing the ladder. the location was beautiful with plenty of walking spots for our dog. the host was friendly and always available. we'll definitely re-book!
